Christina studied trumpet at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Biola University. Her teachers include Mario Guarneri, David Burkhart, Mark Inouye, and James Dooley. She served for 8 years in the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast at Moffett Federal Airfield, performing with the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Rock Band, Brass Quintet, and providing Taps for military funerals.
In addition to trumpet, Christina also offers "Intro to Music" lessons for young children. Drawing from the Kodaly method and Orff-Schulwerk, these lessons nurture creativity and build musical skills using stories, songs, movement, and musical games. The lessons explore piano, recorder, and percussion, and provide a foundation for further study. Music literacy is developed as children read and notate familiar material and compose their own music.
Christina also teaches preschool music classes at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, and elementary music locally through CSMA's Music For Schools program.
